- Free-range, pastured, farm-processed chicken: First batch of Spring 2013 will be available May 23rd. If you want it fresh, come to the farm on May 23-27th, or to the Madison County Farmers’ Market on May 25th. We’ll also be at Archwood Green Barns farmers’ market in the Plains on the 26th. It will be frozen after that.

Spring Onions
- Vegetables growing now: Red, yellow, and white onions, Snap Peas, German Butterball potatoes, Red Norland potatoes, Broccoli, Flathead cabbage, cherry bell radishes, arugula, leaf lettuce, bibb lettuce, garlic, mustard-spinach, mizuna, baby kale, baby spinach, beets, turnips, Mediterranean cucumbers, early tomatoes, carrots.
- Vegetables to be planted: more tomatoes–Brandywine, Pink Brandywine, Black Prince, Roma, Box Car Willie, Homestead, German Striped, Tess’s Land Race Currant Tomato; Blush Eggplant, hot and sweet peppers, Egyptian Spinach/Molokhiya, Okra, Sweet Corn, 3 kinds of watermelon, 3 kinds of cantaloupe, pattypan squash, scallop squash, crookneck squash, straighneck squash, zucchini, cucumbers, pole beans, spaghetti squash, acorn squash, butternut squash, collard greens, mustard greens, chard, japanese spinach, more lettuce, parsnips, basil, thyme, mint, and more!
